A successful shoot is the result of a seamless production process. Our facilities, equipment, experience and access to creative talent allows us to cater for a large range of production requirements in studio or on location.
From scouting and casting talent to budget management and scheduling, our production team are on-hand to ensure your shoot is painlessly executed to the highest possible standard.
As specialists in both photography and film, we’re able to work with our clients on determining the best form of content for the desired outcome.
Our photographers and videographers are personally mentored by Mondo Founder & CEO, Grant Matthews, to ensure a level of quality that’s led from the very top of the business – this mixed with our technological innovation and methodical approach allows us to maintain high-quality results when performing any job, from large volumes of ecommerce work, to one-off advertising.
Dependent on the brief and budget, we work with our clients on building teams of both in-house and external talent. Our industry credibility and the relationships we have built over the years give us access to local and international talent. Once again, this allows us to allocate the perfect mix of talent to each shoot to ensure the right balance of quality, productivity and price.
Studio Mondo works with both in-house and freelance stylists, allowing us to select the right talent for each shoot and budget. Our stylists have experience working across ecommerce, advertising, editorial and more, and deliver content for a range of clients from fashion and lifestyle to food and wine.
Leading our freelance stylists is Judith Cook, who has worked with an enviable portfolio of clients including SKII, David Jones, Olay, Country Road and Schwarzkopf. Her artistic flair and unique sense of style led her to Vogue Australia as Fashion Director, before moving onto InStyle magazine and currently, Australian Women’s Weekly.
Judith sets high standards for the style direction of Mondo’s visual content, ensuring our team of in-house stylists and any freelance creative talent we employ commit to the same standards.
Whether you need help filling copy for an online store or conceptual articles for print, our team of skilled copywriters work across a range of written content. With expertise in both technical and creative writing, our copywriters can bring professionalism and panache to your project.
We work on ecommerce product descriptions, catalogue copy, blog articles and video scripts, and are able to work with clients on one-off briefs or large ongoing projects where we will manage every aspect of the copywriting process.
Our daylight studios are available for hire in Sydney, and are conveniently located in Waterloo – only 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the city.
We have five studios at this location – each of which is architecturally designed to feature a number of different characteristics to suit a range of photographic shoots.
At Studio Mondo, we believe systems are key when it comes to managing large volumes of content. We offer our clients industry-leading workflows that deliver imagery through a customised web-based tool. This system allows our clients to access and download their content with great ease. These tools and systems are particularly important when creating large amounts of ecommerce imagery.
We also have an experienced in-house post production team that manage the entire creative retouching process. Our quality control manager works closely with our clients to ensure they are happy with the imagery before it is dispatched.
We have a selection of equipment and props, as well as Canon and Phase digital cameras and lenses available to hire. We stock Profoto flash gear and have a wide range of light shapers available, from small umbrellas and softboxes through to large and giant Profoto and Briese shapers.
Whether your shoot is in-house or on location, our studio manager is always on hand to answer any questions you have.
If your business is working with high volumes of ecommerce imagery, or simply looking for more creative control over your content, we can work with you on building a customised solution for your needs.
Our bespoke offerings could include building and managing a custom studio space that is specifically designed to manage your content requirements, or customised digital workflows and asset management systems, production, talent sourcing, cost negotiation and stock management.
We have applied our industry knowledge to offer a bespoke solution service that has been tried and tested by some of Australia’s leading retailers.
