The winners of the Gap Kids Casting Call Competition paid a visit to our Waterloo studio to shoot the Gap Kids Winter campaign and an editorial in CHILD Magazine. Studio Mondo’s own Lucienne Cook helmed the shoot, assisted by Will, Helene and the Gap Kids team. Mini models Audrey, Jasmine, Gray and Jensen rocked out on set to the likes of Taylor Swift, One Direction, Frozen and Adam Smith.

Photographer Dan Goode recently traveled to Egypt to find out what all the fuss was about and wasn’t disappointed. Shooting on medium format and with 35mm film, Dan explored the ancient pyramids, the local area and its street life to capture the essence of the city and culture. Exploring the beauty of this fascinating country, Dan has compiled his best images and brought them together in a stunning coffee table book.

Food photographer, Nikki To, has been making waves in the Instagram world. Part of her stop motion series and latest project, #niksflicks, Nikki teamed up with Katherine Sabbath, a self-taught cake creative, to show what happens behind the scenes to make such a delicious dessert.
The triple layered Willy Wonka inspired garden cake was filled with rainbow sprinkle Swiss meringue buttercream and topped with an edible psychedelic mushroom garden. The GIF of Nikki and Katherine’s cake build went viral after Instagram featured the stunning design via their channel.

We’re so happy to announce the marriage of Lucienne Cook to her soulmate and fellow photographer Klint Collier. True to form, Lucie was the most chilled out bride we’ve ever seen and breezed her way through wedding preparations. The stunning bride and dashing groom celebrated their love with a romantic ceremony and reception on Culburra Beach with their family and friends.
Studio Mondo would like to wish the happy couple never-ending love and unbound happiness in their marriage.

Studio Post Coordinator Nick Turner recently teamed up with Instagram blogger and stylist @KATNT, jumping behind the camera to complete a test shoot. The duo created delicious imagery using products from Sydney organic tea bar Rabbit Hole Tea, with finishing touches from resident retoucher Sarah Donvito.
