Desert Dreaming

Our curly mopped Studio Assistant Nick Lawrence recently exhibited a collection of prints at a show in Alexandria. Titled Desert, the images featured Sydney musicians Ginger and the Ghost, and the vivid colours of the central Australian landscape in winter.

As well as a healthy love of food and food photography, it turns out Mondo’s Nikki To also harbours an unashamed love of British chef extraordinaire Jamie Oliver. Needless to say, she jumped at a recent opportunity to shoot the infamous Essex lad for Woolworths, whilst he was down under to promote his Jamie Italian restaurants and get behind Woolworths’ switch to a more sustainable and free-range approach to their produce.

Good canine talent can be tough to come by in the world of advertising; some hounds’ve got it, some just don’t. Safe to say Hayley’s Bosley has spent enough time around the Silverwater and Waterloo studios to know his way around a room set and recently made his campaign debut for David Jones online. Seung Rok ‘N Roll

Ever the experimentalist, Silverwater’s Seung Rok is consistently venturing into the studio outside of the working week, pushing the creative envelope with new concepts and lighting on his test shoots. A slower shutter approach combined with some unique styling produced this surreal set of images on a recent weekend.

In keeping with her globetrotting ways, Mondo’s Zanita recently found herself in the city of love for the craziness that is Paris Fashion Week. Zanita was on assignment, collaborating with H+M to share her unique view on the circus.

Evidently she nailed the brief, as shortly after the team at US Vogue were commissioning her to share her view on 2014 Australian Fashion Week.
