GM Shot the PM

Recently Grant Matthews and his crew photographed our Prime Minister. Here’s what our GM had to say about the PM. ‘I had the privilege of photographing Julia Gillard as our first female PM in 2010 and was fortunate enough to be asked again two weeks ago. She is an extremely warm, engaging and curious woman with a great sense of humour. In some ways I am ashamed at the way we have treated her and by reflection the office of Prime Minister of Australia”.

Mondo will now be working alongside Zanita Morgan to help her continue her brilliant photographic journey – we welcome Zanita into the Mondo family. Take a look at Zanita’s famous blog or her photography site. Any enquiries can be addressed to Mondo’s ever patient and awe inspiring Alice Cook.

Nikki To

Nikki To

Nikki To is a part of a new generation of photographers at Mondo. Starting out as an assistant, Nikki has worked all around the world. A highlight for her was (meeting George Clooney) shooting the Queen Mary II when it sailed from Halifax to NYC (narrowly missing last year’s Hurricane Sandy).

This year Nikki has photographed a number of food features around Sydney, including for Shangri-La Hotels and recipe cards for Robert Carmack’s upcoming Burma cookbook. She also photographed Opera on Sydney Harbour’s production of Carmen. Contact Mondo’s Edwina if you would like Nikki to take a bite out of your next project.

Andrew Butler

Mondo’s swiss army knife, Andrew Butler leads our photography team at our David Jones studio in Silverwater – but lately he has also been shooting for brands such as Oroton, Tony White, The Men’s Shop, Blackmores and Penfolds Wines, plus a few look books for local fashion labels. As you can see here we’ve kept him incredibly busy…
